Privacy Policy

Depending on how you use Gamerperks, we may collect:

• Account information, such as your email address, display name, profile image, account identifiers, authentication records, communication preferences, and account settings.
• Connected-platform information, such as your Steam or PlayStation identifier, public profile, game library, playtime, achievements or trophies, and profile privacy status. If you connect Discord, we may receive your Discord identifier, username, avatar, server membership status, and presence information needed for enabled features.
• Rewards and marketplace activity, including Credits earned and spent, achievement claims, milestones, offer views, redemptions, issued codes, referrals, and related transaction history.
• Applications and communications, including partner or creator application details, uploaded assets, support requests, survey responses, and messages you send to us.
• Device and usage information, including IP address, browser and device type, approximate location derived from IP, referring page, pages viewed, feature interactions, timestamps, diagnostic data, cookies, and similar technologies.

We receive connected-platform information only after you choose to connect that service. The information available to us depends on that platform's settings and your privacy choices there.

The Gamerperks app for iOS and Android collects the same information as the website. It keeps your sign-in token in your phone's secure storage so you stay signed in, and it contains no advertising or tracking software. Signing in happens on Steam's or Sony's own website; the app never sees your password. You can delete your account from the app or the website at any time (see Delete your account).

We use information to:

• provide, personalize, maintain, and improve Gamerperks;
• calculate playtime and achievement rewards, maintain Credit balances, and fulfil offer redemptions;
• authenticate accounts, prevent duplicate claims, detect fraud, secure the service, and enforce our rules;
• operate partner, creator, referral, support, and application processes;
• send service messages and, where permitted, marketing communications that you can unsubscribe from;
• understand site performance, measure campaigns, and display and measure advertising; and
• comply with legal obligations and protect our users, partners, rights, and property.

Depending on your location and the activity, we rely on performance of our agreement with you, our legitimate interests, your consent, and compliance with legal obligations.

We and our service providers use cookies, local storage, pixels, and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, attribute referrals, protect the service, understand usage, measure campaigns, and support advertising.

We use Google services, including Google AdSense, to display and measure advertising. Google and its advertising partners may use cookies or other identifiers to show, limit, personalize, and measure ads based on information such as your visits to this and other websites. Where required, Google's consent message lets you consent, refuse, or manage advertising purposes and vendors. You can revisit those choices through the Privacy and cookie settings link displayed at the bottom of the site when available. You can also manage ad personalization in Google's My Ad Center. Browser controls can block or delete cookies, although doing so may affect site features.

We may share information with:

• vendors that provide hosting, databases, authentication, storage, email, analytics, advertising, payments, customer support, security, and other infrastructure;
• connected platforms when you ask us to perform an action through them;
• brands, affiliate networks, and fulfilment providers where necessary to attribute or fulfil a redemption, resolve an issue, or operate a campaign;
• professional advisers, regulators, courts, law enforcement, or other parties when required by law or necessary to protect rights and safety; and
• a buyer, investor, or successor in connection with a financing, reorganization, sale, or transfer of all or part of our business, subject to appropriate safeguards.

We do not give advertisers access to your Steam credentials. Authentication credentials for connected services are handled according to each integration's authorization process.

We keep information for as long as reasonably needed to provide the service, maintain reward and redemption records, prevent fraud, resolve disputes, meet legal and accounting requirements, and enforce agreements. Retention periods vary by record type.

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No internet service is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Gamerperks and its providers may process information in countries other than the one where you live. Where required, we use recognized safeguards for international transfers, such as contractual protections or adequacy mechanisms.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or receive a portable copy of your personal information, withdraw consent, or appeal a decision about a request. You may also have the right to opt out of certain targeted advertising, selling, or sharing as those terms are defined by applicable law.

You can update certain details in your account, disconnect optional integrations through their settings where available, use the advertising privacy controls described above, or contact us. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request. You may also complain to your local data-protection authority.

Gamerperks is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us so we can review and delete it where required.

We may update this policy as our services or legal obligations change. We will post the updated version here and revise the date above. If a change materially affects how we use information, we will provide additional notice where required.
