The long version
The algorithm considers many things about the way you play; game popularity, game time, performance and uniqueness are the ones that matter most. Credits are collected when you sign in, so sign in at least once a week: anything not collected by Sunday 00:00 UTC resets.

How we make money

We earn from brands that want to partner with us, as well as ads. It ain’t much, but it’s honest work.
The long version
We are gamers who spent four years building this out of our own pockets. We negotiate with brand partners, and when you buy with our link they pay us a little. That is why the link matters: it is the only way a brand can tell a purchase came from Gamerperks.
We also earn a very small amount from ads on the site. If you want to support us directly, Gamerperks Plus and Pro are memberships that add a permanent boost to what your gaming earns, and Pro takes the ads away. Nothing else is for sale here, and that includes you.

Is Gamerperks free?
Yes. There is nothing to buy to earn Credits, and member rates come with membership. You only spend money if you choose to buy from a brand. Plus and Pro are optional memberships for people who want to back us.
How do Credits and member rates fit together?
Credits are what you earn by playing, and they go on gift cards, game keys and gear in the shop. Member rates are a bonus for being part of the community: discounts with no Credits involved. Buying a member rate with our link will also boost what your gaming earns.
Is this a coupon site?
No. The main thing here is earning Credits from the games you already play. The member rates are negotiated with brand partners for members, not gathered from public coupon lists. Go on, ask ChatGPT for a better deal.
Do you sell my data?
No. Never, to anyone. We use your Steam activity to run the algorithm, and that is where it stays. Brands see redemption counts, not people.
What does Steam sign-in see?
Your profile and game activity, so the algorithm can pay Credits. It is read-only: no wallet, no friends, no messages, nothing posted as you. Set Game details to Public in your Steam privacy settings for playtime to count.
Why do I have to use your link for a member rate?
Because it is the only way a brand can tell the purchase came from Gamerperks. That supports us, it opens deeper rates with that brand, and it is what will count for your boost. An ad blocker can break the link, so switch it off for the trip.
Do Credits expire?
Collected Credits stay in your balance until you spend them. Credits your gaming has earned but you have not collected reset every Sunday at 00:00 UTC, so sign in once a week.
What are Plus and Pro?
Optional memberships. Both add a permanent boost to what your gaming earns when the new economy starts, and Pro takes the ads away from day one. Free members earn from the same algorithm either way.
