What is changing
Gamerperks is moving to a simpler deal: play what you already own, earn Credits, and use the member rates we negotiate for you. Here is what is live today and what is coming.
Your carry-over
The new economy starts Friday 9 October. Credits you have today do not move across on their own. Everyone carries over up to 10 Credits with one click, or 25 with Plus and 100 with Pro.

The short version
- Member rates are part of your membership. Use any of them, any time, with no Credits involved, now or later.
- One click copies your code and opens the brand through our link. Using our link is what makes a purchase count for you and for us.
- Credits are changing: they still come from playing what you already own, and they are moving to the shop, where they pay for game keys, gift cards and gear. The top tier of every brand ladder is still a free game key or gift card.
- Your balance is unchanged today. The new economy starts Friday 9 October, with a carry-over for everyone.
The long version
Play what you already own. Our algorithm connects your gaming to Credits; it considers game popularity, game time, game performance and uniqueness, among other things. Earn Credits and cash them out on gift cards, game keys and gear.
As part of the community, we negotiate member rates with brand partners for you. Those rates used to cost Credits to unlock. From today they do not: a member rate is something you have because you are a member, and that will not change when Credits move to the shop. What matters is using it through our link, because that is how the brand knows the purchase came from Gamerperks.
That is also why the redeem flow changed. On a code member rate, one click copies the code and takes you to the brand through your own tracked link. On a link member rate, the link already carries it.
Brand ladders stay: use tier one and, once the brand confirms the purchase, the next tier opens at a deeper rate. Complete the ladder and the top tier is a free game key or gift card, every time.

What stays the same
- Credits come from your gaming.
- Every rate on Gamerperks is negotiated directly with the brand for members, not copied from a coupon site.
- Milestones, referrals and your redeemed codes are where they were.
